| yes, yes...it's been a while.
just to let anyone who might actually read this know...
alsotheband is coming back to life.
slowly.
i've been practicing with my brother-in-law jon,
and i'm liking what i'm hearing.
my friend jeremy has sat in a couple of times to add some lead guitar.
thursday night will be the first time the three of us get together will a bass player.
i'll keep you up-to-date with how that goes.
i'm not sure if the band name will stay the same...
but i'll let you know about that later, too.
and i'll probably move this blog thing to wordpress once things start rolling.
just wanted to let anyone intersted know what's going on.

| last night nick and i once again played at the higher grounds open mic night.
it was a good time.
not as many people signed up as usual, so we both got to play a little longer.
i played 5 songs.
do you want to know which?

i believe we are going to start playing there for every open mic night.
at least every one we can make it to.
2nd and 4th monday of every month.

| so this sucks...
i emailed the company duplicating my cds yesterday and asked what the hold up was.
their website says orders will be received within 2 to 4 weeks.
it's been 7.
someone responded and told me to call the office...
i was then told that i should have gotten an email asking me a question...which i never received.
i was put on with a graphic designer who asked if they should print the cds even though the blue was a little darker when they printed it than on the proofs i sent.
YES! PRINT THEM!
the guy then told me he had forgotten to email me about it a few weeks ago.
so...my cds should have been here weeks ago, but someone FORGOT to email me,
and now i have to wait even longer.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?
this project has been a huge test of patience.
why aren't people professional?
why don't they just do their jobs and do them well?
